Vivian Alarcón is a visual artist born and based in Barcelona, whose current practice focuses on glass sculpture and the poetic exploration of matter. With a unique sensitivity to color, form, and symbolism, her work moves between the sensory, the spiritual, and the emotional—giving shape to the intangible.

With her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design background, at Istituto Europeo Di Design, and Masterclass Courses at Barcelona Glass Studio, her creative path has evolved from illustration and textile arts toward an increasingly intimate, material, and three-dimensional language. Her universe, both recognizable and singular, draws from childhood memories, dreamlike references, and playful archetypes. Tenderness and strength coexist in her handmade pieces.

After years creating for fashion and editorial projects, jewelry and homeware, Vivian now takes a deeper step into sculptural work, mastering artisanal techniques like glassblowing and hot shaping, often combined with noble materials. Through these objects, she explores memory, the energy of space, and the connection between the earthly and the ethereal. Focusing on the essence of existence, the spirit and soul brought to the physical dimension.

She has created a colorful universe in House of VV, that allows her express her inner child and to serve as a reminder to never loose our inner child with simple symbols such as a sweet. These playful project pieces have made her be selected by AD Spain as ‘Best of España’ 2024, and to be featured in M Le Monde, Vogue Spain, Harper’s Bazaar, La Vanguardia, Metal Magazine, amongst others. Vivian’s creations have also appeared in contexts like the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Casa Batlló, Netflix’s Elite, and the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway.

Always with her hands, soul... and a touch of magic!
